Faugus One of the greatest piece of art I ever had to listen. Perfect to go to sleep with, study on... Any context is great to listen to this album Favorite track: Télvíz.

vykr This is never 15 years old!? Would i have "got into" the rest of Kátai's work if i came across this first? Yeah, more than likely. Nostalgic, romantic and enchanting. Play this first, then 'Gire' and round off with 'Geometria: a decent night in isolation. Favorite track: Ázik az út.

henull I bought physical copy of this album long time ago. This album is soundtrack to my quiet place. Headphones on, dark room, and this album at comfortable volume => refreshed and happier person after a while.

Zoli I've listened to this countless times and it's absolutely mesmerizing. A feeling of nostalgia floats throughout the album, truly a piece of art Favorite track: Zölderdő.

This is the first solo album of Tamás Kátai, the composer and performer behind Hungarian avant-garde black metal project Thy Catafalque and experimental metal band Gire.

This album has nothing to do with metal or even rock music though. Neoclassical, neofolk, ambient elements and chamber music blending with obscure Hungarian poetry and folklore through a minimalist approach. Nostalgia is the word.

The title translates as Erika’s Room.
