about

2 x Cassette by Senkrecht Records, 2023 including Erika szobája (2005) and Slower Structures (2016) by Tamás Kátai.

The first two solo albums from the Hungarian cult underground musician Tamás Kátai.

Erika szobája was originally released by the Italian label Ars Benevola Mater as a digipak CD in 2006. Neoclassical, neofolk, ambient elements and chamber music blending with obscure Hungarian poetry and folklore through a minimalist approach. Nostalgia is the word.

Slower Structures was originally released by the Russian label GS Productions as a digipak CD in 2016. Experimental, minimalist chamber music written to piano, violin, double bass and electronics.

Both albums are on cassette for the first time.
